What is the total (monthly) cost of an ARM64-2GB server?

#1

On the main page, I thought it was to be €2.99/mo

But upon closer inspection of the draft bill, I’m being charged separately for a “reserved” IP, and also for the storage attached to the server?

I see that I can cut the storage cost by downgrading the size of the volume (though the migration’s going to be a pain), but is there any way to save the money on the IP? I don’t care so much about it being “reserved”, as I’ve got (D)DNS for that.

What’s the cheapest the multi-core servers actually (total cost) go?

Hello,

You can find detailed information how the instance is billed in our FAQ. An instance includes a compute node, an reserved IP address and a volume.

It is possible to run an arm64 2G server without a reserved IP4. (I.e. IPv6 only.) I do that, and my monthly bill is precisely €2.00 for the past 2 years. I just took a snapshot, and am waiting to see how much that adds…

You get charged an additional euro monthly for each reserved IP4. You NAT the reserved public IP4s to whatever server.
