I made a scaleway account in 2015 using my university e-mail. I haven’t logged on for several years, and when I tried to log in, I am asked to verify my e-mail by clicking on a confirmation link that will be sent to my e-mail. No confirmation link shows up.
Even funnier, is that in order to open a support ticket to get help with the fact that I can’t get a confirmation link, I need a confirmed account.
When I was making an account on this community forum, it also asked me to confirm my e-mail. As expected, no e-mail shows up. I gave it my gmail e-mail instead, and I get a confirmation e-mail on this account. So… confirmation e-mails are rejected on edu accounts.
However, that is not to say that none of scaleway’s e-mails show up on edu accounts. In fact, every month, I get an e-mail saying how my credit card will expire soon, there’s a new service, etc. I even got a warning e-mail on the edu e-mail that my account is being logged in from a new address.
