Hi!
What storage technology do you use?
Can you do cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg please?

Hi,
Yes for sure :

 iscsi: hdd20
    portal san-hdd-20.rpn.online.net
    target iqn.2013-01.net.online:xxxxxxx3
    content none

dir: local
    path /var/lib/vz
    content vztmpl,snippets,backup,images,rootdir,iso
    maxfiles 3
    shared 1

lvm: NAS1
    vgname nas1
    base hdd20:0.0.0.scsi-14945540000000000af6bae14924486c8273e97ae0231e203
    content images,rootdir
    shared 0

Hi,
It seems like you’re using RPN-SAN with the LVM storage type.
According to the documentation, snapshots (aka backup) are not available with this type.
Source: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage
You may have to use another storage type to perform backups

Hi,
I understand. I follow this guide : https://documentation.online.net/fr/dedicated-server/tutorials/network/configure-rpn-san/proxmox
How I can modify the configuration to have the snapshot features (I can order another san) ?
I tried without success.
Could i use rpn-san with zfs over scsi ?
