Hi all,

Graylog is a fully integrated open source log management platform for collecting, indexing, and analyzing both structured and unstructured data from almost any source.

Officiel website : https://www.graylog.org/
Packages : https://www.graylog.org/download-graylog/

Is it possible to create a Graylog Image ?

Hello @CPolomack,

we could create an Image fast and easy (C2) – with default settings.

#7

Hello,

this should work – Should I create an Image at GitHub?

## -*- docker-image-name: "graylog2/allinone:latest" -*-
FROM graylog2/allinone

MAINTAINER Eldin Hadzic <elcore@tutanota.com> (@eldinhadzic_)

# Prepare rootfs for image-builder
RUN /usr/local/sbin/builder-enter

# Clean rootfs from image-builder
RUN /usr/local/sbin/builder-leave

@eldin,

If you start (FROM xxx) from something else than scaleway/xxx, you will need to ensure the image boots and contains every needed boot scripts (sync ssh keys, sync kernel modules, handle reboot with nbd etc), I suggest you to create an image beginning with FROM scaleway/xxx and install dependencies later

#9

Hello @manfred,

Thank you very much for your help

I will use FROM graylog2/allinone – official and easy to work with it

#10

Hello,

a few patches and it should work  -> I used scaleway/ubuntu:amd64-trusty

TODO:

  • Create a script for the password_secret and admin password
  • Test latest changes on the Dockerfile
